Despite Suspect's Guilty Plea, China Denies Having Weapons Agents in US

The plot thickens. The Russians denied having agents on college campuses in the 40's and 50's, and you know how that turned out. Noam Chomsky. Pft.

UPDATE: More intrigue here.

I am curious, are you implying that Noam Chomsky was a Soviet agent in the 40s and 50s? Chomsky's contributions to liguistics are important in several fields of theoretical computer science, so I am somewhat familiar with him. Last week I was in the college bookstore and happened to notice that he had a current bestseller on a quite unrelated topic. I became interested enough that I checked "The Chomsky Reader" out of the Lehigh library later that day. I haven't had time to actually read it yet, but I expect it will be very interesting reading, even if I disagree with most of his conclusions.
